My name is Aaron Goldenthal, and I'm an ASP.NET developer in Houston, Texas. I grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan where I earned a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering (focusing on computational fluid dynamics). After that I moved to Houston, and since 1996 have been working for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in Robotics Flight Control. In English that means I work in mission control monitoring the state of the robotic arm on the Space Shuttle, working around any anomalies, and planning for future operations.
I've been developing web pages/sites since 1993, when a friend got me hooked on this strange new application called Mosaic - a web browser. For the last 9 years I've been developing in ASP, and the last 5 years in ASP.NET. I do some development work professionally, but most of it is in my spare time. I've learned all I know about ASP.NET/CSS/Javascript through a few books, a lot of online material, and a ton of experimentation and digging through the framework code in Reflector. I also spend some of my free time helping people with issues on the ASP.NET forums (I'm agolden).
